Important Notice for Policyholders Affected by Recent Flooding in Illinois
To ensure that policyholders affected by the recent flooding in Illinois do not experience additional hardship, we are implementing the following actions:
Moratorium on Cancellation and Nonrenewals - Atlantic Master Plan policies will not be cancelled or nonrenewed for non-payment of premium or for underwriting reasons between June 10 and August 18. If a legal notice of cancellation for non-payment of premium was mailed, the policy will be reinstated without lapse. Time period extensions will be given for submitting claims and related documentation and completing required property repairs. Other exceptions to policy or contract requirements not specifically listed may be considered when the requirements are not met as a result of this disaster.
